JAILERS & PROSECUTORS ARE LISTENING
If you “put money on the books” of a loved one or friend who is incarcerated at a county jail or in a penitentiary, be aware that every word uttered during any phone call, zoom call, tablet communication or visit . . . can be recorded by the correctional facility. Moreover, it is normal for “jail calls” to be recorded – even in smaller villages, cities and counties.
You should always consider ALL communications between the outside world and the inmate are saved to a file with the inmate’s name. And, the well known Miranda Warning that virtually every person in America over the age of 5 years old knows by heart – “You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.” – Applies to ALL phone calls, letters and “tablet” communications.
When communicating with a loved one or friend in jail or prison, remember the old World War II saying, “Loose Lips Sink Ships” and protect their Constitutional Right not to incriminate themselves. And, I suggest that you upgrade your understanding of the Miranda Warning by taking to heart my modifications highlighted in RED:
YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT.
ANYTHING YOU SAY CAN BE
MISCONSTRUED, MISINTERPRETED AND TWISTED
AND THEN USED AGAINST YOU IN A COURT OF LAW.
